Friday Post #3 (Feb. 26)

What I did :

   This week in Info-tech 11, we used flash. In flash, we followed a tutorial to make our very own
"movie." We used the animation features and made our own trees, houses, road, and car. The concept of this is when you press the "Start Movie" button, your car is supposed to move from one end of the screen to the other.

What I learned : 


   This week in Info-Tech 11, we learnt many things in flash. First, we learned how to maneuver around the program using the rectangle, line, and many other tools. We also learned how to make the "Start Button" glow green and gold when hovering or pressing it. Another thing we learned was the sound and how to add the honking sound of the horn We also learned a lot of commands such as :

Frame = F5

Keyframe = F6

Blank Frame = F7

CTRL - X = Cut

CTRL Enter = Play movie

CTRL - V  = Paste

Shift - CTRL - V = Paste in place

CTRL - G = group

CTRL - B = break

Friday Post #2

  What I did : 

          This week in Info tech 11, we worked mainly just on one project. It was a pretty big project consisting of 3 sections. The first section involved creating your name and putting an image in your name like a mall parking lot, earth from space, and an upside down world map. The second section involved using the previous names with the images and putting an overlay on top so you could see the image and the overlay. The third part, which we are still working on, involves getting 3 images and putting textures on them manually. This part is the hardest because you have to make sure the picture makes sense because you can't have the texture over the headlights or on the tires of the car if the image is a car.

  

What I learnt?

       This week in Info Tech 11, I learned a lot. Even though we only did one project, we learned a lot. Like when you want to overlay something, you put the overlay texture over the picture you want to overlay and press "ctrl" and click on the thumbnail of the picture you want to be overlayed, it will outline the picture, Then you press "ctrl" and "J" and you will get the overlayed form of it. I also learned how to use the lasso tool and the crop tool to get rid of some parts of a picture that I don't want in the final product. We also learned how to make repeated background and when to stop it. When you want to stop the background, you put the </div> where you want it to stop.

Friday Post

What I did this week :

This week in Info Tech 11, we created a blog to record all our progress in this class. We, also, created gifs of our predicted grades and posted them to our blogs. My predicted grade was a 90% which is an A. We also used photoshop and made our name out of backgrounds, sceneries, objects, etc. This was the biggest assignment this week because it took a lot of time to make it precise. We had to erase everything on our letters except for the letters and had to make sure that there were no bits and pieces of the image left. We did not do anything crazy this week but that is because it is the first week and hopefully we can get more complex in the coming weeks of this semester.

What I learnt this week :

      I learnt a lot of stuff this week in Info tech 11. First, I learnt how to get your Hand in and Hand out folders by using "\\acs-dc01" and putting that into the file explorer. I also learned learned the Photoshop shortcuts such as how to highlight, unhighlight, undo and many more just by using the "ctrl" key plus some letter keys. Such as "ctrl" + "D" = unhighlight. I also learned something that will definitely be important and that is the coding in HTML. I learnt that if you add a colour and don't end the coding with "</div>"your blog can get screwed up because it will put your biography below all of your posts and not your sidebar. I learned many things this week in Info tech 11 and they will definitely help me in the future.
